Ministries

Sunday School and Youth Ministry

Sunday school is held each Sunday afternoon for children preschool-aged through high school seniors. All are welcome. Other activities throughout the year include participating in local outreach service projects, Vacation Bible School, and the Christmas program. We also have an active young christian single group that engages in Bible studies, outreach, discipleship, and other activities.

Bible and Missions

This program distributes Bibles and Bible story books (free of charge or obligation) to anyone who needs them. Large print Bibles, audio Bibles, pocket Bibles, etc. are also available. In addition, this program supports various local, national, and international mission organizations. We sponsor missionaries and other projects such as prison ministries, Bible distribution projects, and Christian education programs including schools in Haiti, Mexico, and Jamaica.

HarvestCall and Local Outreach

HarvestCall is an outreach arm of the Apostolic Christian Church of America. Its purpose is to enable the Apostolic Christian brotherhood to proclaim Christ and serve others beyond the capacity of the local church. By working together, they strive to alleviate suffering and despair around the world by sharing Jesus through words of truth and deeds of compassion.

Some of the local outreach activities that our church family is involved in include:

Local Projects: Opportunities abound to serve others in such activities as: regional disaster relief (wild fires, earthquake relief), storm damage repair, or local mission agency such as the San Diego Rescue Mission and Interfaith Community Services.

Support of Denominational Efforts: Our local church also supports and participates in the efforts of the national Apostolic Christian HarvestCall board. This board coordinates both domestic (e.g. rebuilding in Biloxi, AL after hurricane Katrina) and international (e.g., Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, India, etc.) evangelism and outreach work. Wednesday Evening Small Group Bible Study

Our Wednesday night services are designed to foster discipleship, spiritual growth, and relationship building. We have small group Bible studies, testimony nights, topical discussions, and song worship.

Church Dinner / Family Night / Park Days

Potluck dinners, park activity days, and family events are scheduled throughout the year.

All Church Retreats

We have church weekend campouts and other retreat opportunities that are scheduled throughout the year.

Inter-generational Relationship Building

Our local church vision is partly to encourage and support healthy relationships between the generations of our church. To draw closer to God, each other, and God's will for our lives. We have numerous mentoring, discipling, and relationship connections that happen both organically, and through organized efforts.
"And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

Matthew 18:3
